​Cooper Flagg found his way into the history books early Friday morning, as his one-of-one Topps Rookie Debut Patch Card sold with Fanatics Collect for $8.04 million. Toward the end of the bidding, the card rose from $3.5 million to $8.04 in the span of five hours.In doing so, the card broke multiple records. It became the most expensive basketball card sale featuring a single player. The card became the third-highest NBA card sale ever, trailing two duo cards, one featuring Michael Jordan and LeBron James and another featuring Jordan and Kobe Bryant. Lastly, the card became the highest-selling debut patch card and the highest-selling Dallas Mavericks card in existence.
