(WHNT) — Week 1 of high school football is in the books, and there’s some movement in our Week 2 Super 8 poll.Several teams in the Week 1 Super 8 poll picked up big wins, while two new teams have found themselves in the poll after a strong start to the season.

PlainviewPlainview remains undefeated after taking down Boaz 41-25 in the Pruitt Bowl. The Bears were led by Kylen Johnson. The junior went for 326 total yards and four touchdowns.The Bears are averaging 36 points a game through the early portion of the season. The Alabama Sports Writers Association ranks them as the top team in 3A.Plainview takes on New Hope in Week 2.2.) ScottsboroComing off a win over Fort Payne in Week 0, Scottsboro didn’t miss a beat as they took down Crossville 62-0. Scottsboro is averaging 41 points a game so far and is ranked fourth in the AWSA’s 4A poll.The Wildcats welcome in Fairview in a rematch of last year’s state quarterfinals.3.) GeraldineGeraldine had the week off, but remains the third-ranked team in our Super 8 Poll. The Bulldogs hit the road to Stevenson to take on North Jackson this week.4.) FlorenceFlorence makes their first appearance in the Super 8 poll and jumps all the way to No. 4. The Falcons are off to a 2-0 start with wins over Pinson Valley and Jasper. Florence is averaging an absurd 47.5 points a game. Florence will take on Muscle Shoals this week. 5.) Muscle ShoalsThe Muscle Shoals Trojans had the week off, but come in at No. 5 in our Week 2 Super 8 poll. Muscle Shoals lost a close one to Hoover in Week 0 and will welcome in Florence this week.6.) RussellvilleDarrell Higgins and company took down his former school, Mars Hill 21-7 in Week 1. The Golden Tigers snapped the Panthers’ 21-game win streak and looked like they took a step forward from their Week 0 win over Deshler.Russellville opens region play on the road against Hartselle this week.7.) FyffeComing off a tight win in Week 0, the Fyffe Red Devils flexed their muscles with a big 49-0 win over Sylvania in Week 1.Ryder Gipson had a casual 127-yard, three-touchdown night on just 11 carries. The AWSA has the Red Devils ranked as the No. 1 team in 2A.8.) RandolphDavid Lloyd and the Randolph Raiders have jumped out to an impressive 2-0 start. The Raiders took down Whitesburg Christian 63-32 in Week 1. Lefebvre Watson rushed for over 200 yards and six touchdowns in the winThe Raiders are averaging 55 points a game and open region play with Lee-Scott Academy in town this week.
