2026 ACC High School Recruits

By admin — In News — July 9, 2026

It used to be much simpler to assemble a list of high school recruits, but with the portal, international players, and reclassified athletes, the process has grown far more intricate. What used to be a recruiting season has effectively become a roster-building season. Some programs barely even focus on high school recruiting anymore. So far, though, this list remains essentially current. We’ll be linking it to the Portal Tracker page so you can get a clearer picture of where every roster stands today.
A few preliminary notes: Stanford has added Aziz Olajuwon. He isn’t as tall as his father, Hakeem, but it will be interesting to watch his development. We’re also seeing sons of former NBA players joining the mix—Brandon Bass, Jr. goes to Florida State, and Obinna Ekezie, Jr. will suit up for Louisville. Add Duke’s Joaquim Boumjte Boumtje (son of Rubin Boumtje) and Bryson Howard (son of Josh Howard), and the trend becomes even more pronounced. Florida State’s Elisee Assui is another name to watch; the football program is reportedly pursuing him as well. On the wing, Assui appears to be an imposing presence.
Notre Dame features Gan-Erdene Solongo, who, to our knowledge, is the first Mongolian—and Mongolian-Irish—player to participate in the ACC. This is a clear example that international players aren’t confined to Europe or Africa; Solongo’s presence signals broader recruiting scopes, and Louisville has added Chinese-born Boyuan Zhang to the fold.
Wake Forest has pulled in a new set of twins, while Boston College has added a notable group: Zak Smrekar, listed at 6-7 but with no star rating currently; Jordan Ghee at 6-5/NR; CalDionycius Bakare at 6-5/3-star; Nicolas Mitrovic at 6-10/3-star; Dominykas Daubaris at 6-9/NR; Clemson has Harris Reynolds at 6-5/4-star; Will Stevens at 6-10/4-star; Amare James at 6-6/3-star.
Duke’s latest is Cameron Williams, a 7-0 prospect rated at 5 stars; Joaquim Boumjte Boumtje stands at 6-11 with 5 stars; Deron Rippey checks in at 6-2/5 stars; Bryson Howard at 6-5/5 stars; Maxime Meyer is 7-1/4-star; Nick Arnold at 6-2/NR.
At Florida State, the class includes Marcis Ponder at 6-11/4 stars; Martay Barnes at 6-2/4 stars; Brandon Bass at 6-4/4 stars; Collin Paul at 6-7/4 stars; Jason Lopez at 5-11/3 stars; Amare Robinson at 6-1/NR; JD Jones at 6-5/NR; Elisee Assui at 6-5/NR.
Georgia Tech has Moustapha Diop at 6-10/4 stars; Kaiden Bailey at 6-2/4-star; Kayden Allen at 6-6/4-star. Louisville features Obinna Ekezie at 7-1/5-star; Boyuan Zhang at 6-8/4-star; Isaac Ellis at 6-1/3-star. Miami’s notable names include Caleb Gaskins at 6-8/5-star; Chris Birden at 6-8/NR; Egor Ryzhov at 6-11 (Russia). NC State has Kingston Whitty at 6-2/4-star; Robert Jerkovich at 6-9 with no stars. North Carolina lists Maximo Adams at 6-8/5-star; Kevin Thomas at 6-7/4-star; Sayon Keita at 6-11/5-star; Malloy Smith at 6-4/3-star; Alex Samodurov, noted as Greek rather than a high school player. Notre Dame’s group includes Jonathan Sanderson at 6-2/4-star; Gan-Erdene Solongo at 7-0/4-star; Nick Shrewsberry at 6-5/NR. Pitt features Chase Foster at 6-8/4-star; Jermal Jones at 6-3/4-star. SMU presents Cam Lomax at 6-0/4-star. Stanford’s additions include Aziz Olajuwon at 6-6/4-star; Isaiah Rogers at 6-2/4-star; Elias Obenyah at 6-4/4-star; Julius Price at 6-2/4-star. Syracuse’s newcomers include Ryan Moesch at 6-0/4-star; Mark Morano Mahmutovic at 6-7/4-star; Abdramane Siby, noted for SEO purposes.
This is a broad, evolving landscape, where international players and reclassifications increasingly shape rosters alongside traditional high school recruiting. We’ll continue to monitor shifts and connect this list to the Portal Tracker so you can see exactly how rosters stand at any given moment.
