   ​Round 24 of the SuperMotocross World Championship, Round 7 of Pro Motocross, will be contested on one of the most personal tracks the series visits. Owned by the Martin family for nearly its entire history, this has been the proving ground for Alex and Jeremy Martin their entire lives.Purchased in 1987 by John and Greta Martin after the venue had already hosted four Pro Motocross events, this has been a special place for Jeremy and Alex. In the 250 division, Cole Davies has a two-point lead over Levi Kitchen.This is the second time in five years the premiere division points have been this close at the halfway point. The opposite was true in Moto 2, with Hunter pulling away from the field and setting its fastest lap before hitting neutral exiting a turn late in the race. He crashed and faded after having the wind knocked from him.Haiden Deegan continues to improve. He scored his third podium in Southwick in his sixth start on a 450. Starting has been his specialty. According to WeWentFast.com, he is scheduled to make his 90th consecutive SMX League start this weekend. With five minutes remaining on the clock in Moto 2, he crashed hard. He had enough of a cushion over Cole Davies to maintain the lead, but the victory was costly.Behind the podium after his win, Coenen was overheard to say he believed he broke his collarbone.The two-points separating Davies and Kitchen is the closest margin in the class since 2020 when Dylan Ferrandis l
