What matters is where those players land—whether with the Buccaneers, the Bears, or the Steelers. He arrives as a five-star talent per 247 Sports, a recognition that speaks to the high ceiling and the demanding path ahead. In high school, he was a four-time All-State honoree and earned All-American status, showcasing the kind of pedigree that makes evaluators sit up and take notice. He was also recognized as the MaxPreps National Freshman of the Year, signaling early dominance and a trajectory toward the top of the quarterback pecking order.

The potential is unmistakable; the misses, too, are noticeable. When a quarterback demonstrates legitimate arm talent and the ability to push the ball downfield, it’s easy to dream about a franchise-altering upgrade. Yet consistency remains elusive, and big-game performance will be the definitive barometer of whether that potential translates into guaranteed success at the pro level.
