4-star DL snubs Georgia football with ACC commitment

   ​The Georgia Bulldogs have missed out on four-star defensive lineman Kadin Fife, who is a member of the class of 2027. Fife was previously committed to the Tennessee Volunteers from Nov. 2025 to June 2026 and was predicted to commit to Georgia. However, the four-star committed to the Louisville Cardinals in a bit of a surprise.Fife’s commitment is an enormous recruiting win for coach Jeff Brohm and Louisville. The Cardinals needed some momentum on the recruiting trail and only have the nation’s No. 50 recruiting class. Fife is one of Louisville’s highest rated commitments. Fife is the No. 390 prospect in the country and the No. 19 recruit in Alabama.The new Louisville commitment plays high school football for Cherokee County in Centre, Alabama. Fife elected to decommit from Tennessee after taking official visits to Ole Miss, Tennessee and Georgia.Georgia and coach Kirby Smart have 18 commitments in the 2027 cycle.
