The San Francisco 49ers announced on Thursday their schedule for 11 open practices during this year’s training camp. The open sessions will kick off on Sunday, July 26, and will run through Sunday, August 16, with a notable exception: the practice on Monday, August 3 will be accessible exclusively to 49ers season ticket holders, club members, and reserve members. In addition to the open practices, the 49ers have arranged a joint training session with the Tennessee Titans on Tuesday, August 11, giving players a chance to compete and learn in a collaborative environment.
All on-field activities will take place at the SAP Performance Facility in Santa Clara, the adjacent training complex situated next to Levi’s Stadium. This facility serves as the primary hub for the team’s summer workouts, drills, and scrimmages, offering the best possible setting for evaluating talent, building team chemistry, and giving fans a closer look at the squad in a controlled environment.
For fans eager to secure access to these sessions, there will be an exclusive pre-sale window for season ticket holders on Tuesday, July 14. General public tickets will then become available starting Wednesday, July 15 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time. Pricing for open practice attendance is straightforward: tickets are priced at $10 for 49ers members and $20 for non-members, with all parking provided free of charge. In addition, every ticket sale contributes to a meaningful cause, as all proceeds benefit the 49ers Foundation, the organization’s charitable arm dedicated to community development and youth initiatives.
This 2024 training camp schedule presents a valuable opportunity for fans to observe the team’s development up close, watch players compete for roles, and gain insight into the coaching staff’s strategic plans. The open practices offer a window into the work habits, discipline, and daily routines that define the 49ers’ approach to preparing for the upcoming season, while the one joint practice with the Titans adds an extra layer of competitiveness and preparation.
By attending these sessions, fans can experience the energy and atmosphere of NFL training camps, witness players in various drills and team periods, and enjoy the affordability and accessibility of open practice events. The SAP Performance Facility’s proximity to Levi’s Stadium also makes it a convenient destination for supporters attending multiple events in the same weekend or visiting the area for a broader range of activities surrounding the team’s camp. Whether you’re a long-time season ticket holder, a club member, or a casual supporter looking to catch a glimpse of the 49ers in action, the 2024 open practice slate promises engaging football and a chance to connect with the team and its community.
