​Two games, two blowouts for the 49ers so far in 2026.After pummeling the Rams in Week 1, the 49ers again turned in a dominant performance, today beating the Dolphins 35-13.Brock Purdy threw for two touchdowns and ran for another and Christian McCaffrey ran for two touchdowns as the 49ers cruised. Purdy’s passing was almost perfect; he completed 20 of 22 passes for 287 yards, with no sacks and no turnovers.Perhaps the best news for the 49ers was that tight end George Kittle looked all the way back from the Achilles injury he suffered in last season’s playoffs. Kittle caught four passes for 80 yards and a touchdown.The Dolphins look like they might be the worst team in the NFL. Malik Willis was struggling to find open receivers (until garbage time, when he padded his stats with a 77-yard touchdown pass to Ryan Miller), De’Von Achane was struggling to find holes to run through, and the Dolphins’ defense was struggling to do much of anything. Miami is 0-2.San Francisco is 2-0, and so far, no one has even challenged the 49ers. They might just be the best team in the NFL.
