After two consecutive wins against backup quarterbacks, the Green Bay Packers responded with a convincing Week 6 win over the Dak Prescott-led Dallas Cowboys on “Sunday Night Football” from Lambeau Field. The Packers jumped out to a 17-0 lead before closing out the game 23-13, improving to 4-2 on the year.Without an effective run game, the Packers’ passing attack carried the offense up and down the field, even though drops were an issue. The defense generated two turnovers and mostly held the Cowboys’ dynamic receiving duo of CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens in check. Here were the standouts from Green Bay’s most recent win over Dallas:QB Jordan LoveDon’t let the box score tell you otherwise. Love was great in this game. His pass protection took a step back from the previous two weeks, allowing three sacks and eight hits, and receivers dropped as many as five passes, but Love’s play rarely wavered. He completed big-time throws to Christian Watson and Matthew Golden and performed excellently under pressure and on third down. Love finished with 276 yards, one passing touchdown, one interception, and snuck in his first rushing score of the season. With a little more help from those around him, Love could have thrown for over 300 yards and multiple passing touchdowns. Still, Love played at a high level and has been for the past few weeks. THE SILLYBODY SNEAK📺: NBC pic.twitter.com/BX04WpoPnj— Green Bay Packers (@packers) October 19, 2026WR Matthew GoldenDrops and a subjective taunting penalty kept Golden from what would have been a career day, but he showed tremendous resiliency en route to a six-catch day, a game-high 104 receiving yards, and a touchdown that put his team up 7-0 early on. Pro Football Focus officially credited him with three drops, two of which could have been touchdowns, but the second-year receiver stayed locked in, and his quarterback’s confidence in him never wavered. Golden has now gone for 100 receiving yards in back-to-back games, becoming the first Packer to do so since Davante Adams in 2021. AGENT 0📺: NBC pic.twitter.com/g9gZwas6JN— Green Bay Packers (@packers) October 19, 2026S Evan WilliamsThere’s no other way to put it: Williams is having an All-Pro-caliber season so far. His second-quarter interception of Prescott showcased his impressive range and game-changing impact. He started at the line of scrimmage, then retreated to the middle of the field to step in front of a pass intended for Lamb and prevent Dallas from scoring after driving to Green Bay’s 17-yard line. In addition to the pick, Williams had six combined tackles, including a tackle on Javonte Williams for no gain on a third-and-4 to force a punt.EVAN.
