Michigan State football adding Division II edge rusher Aidan Boehle

​  ​​​     Pat Fitzgerald’s attention has been on Michigan State football’s 2027 class, but he’s not finished assembling this year’s team.The Spartans picked up a commitment from linebacker/edge rusher Aidan Boehle on Thursday, June 11. He played in three games in 2024 as a redshirt freshman and had two tackles after arriving as a two-star recruit in the 2023 class. Boehle was ranked the nation’s 201st edge rusher and 2,678th overall player in 2023 according to 247 Sports’ composite rankings.The Spartans, who are in the middle of their summer workouts, open their season Friday, Sept. 4 (8 p.m., FS1) at home against Toledo in Fitzgerald’s debut.
