This win made them ascend in the ACC standings. The Miami Hurricanes, who have been the standard in the conference all year and were ranked No. 1, suffered their first loss as they fell to the No. 11 Notre Dame Fighting Irish in South Bend. Keeping pace with them at the top of the ACC were the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, whose only loss of the season was to Miami. They improved to 8-1 on the year, which is the same record as the Hurricanes. It was a great day for road teams in the ACC as the Clemson Tigers, North Carolina Tar Heels, Duke Blue Devils, and Louisville Cardinals all picked up wins. As for FSU, they have a chance to finish the season strong in conference play if they can beat the Pittsburgh Panthers and NC State Wolfpack over the next two weeks.Updated ACC football standings after Week 10 1.
