The first day I had my lanyard on that said I was a recruit, so people knew who I was. But the second day I didn’t wear it, and people still treated me so well all over campus. I could tell there were a lot of God-centered people who have Christ in their lives.”Williams lived in Greenville, N.C., until age 6 and will head back to the state later this week for his East Carolina visit, which runs Thursday through Saturday. He said the chance to see the field quickly is a major selling point for the Pirates.Follow us @TarHeelsWire on X and like our page on Facebook to follow ongoing coverage of North Carolina Tar Heels news, notes and opinions. This article originally appeared on Tar Heels Wire: UNC Football: UNC target sets commitment date after visit
