Only Garrett Sexton Until Penn State Football

In 71 days, Penn State will be back on the field at Beaver Stadium when they play host to Marshall in the season opener.
In that game, it’s likely that No. 71 Garrett Sexton, a redshirt sophomore will get some run along the offensive line.

Sexton figures to battle for playing time as the former four-star recruit appeared in 13 games last season mixed between special teams and a reserve role on the offensive line. He redshirted back in 2024, but earned honors for being one of the team’s top developmental players multiple times.
Originally from Wisconsin, Sexton was viewed as a major recruiting win for the Nittany Lions back in the Class of 2024. Sexton was actually offered by Iowa State – and his current coach Matt Campbell – early in the process.
Penn State will be in action in 71 days against Marshall.
