The promotion comes after an outstanding season at Triple-A Columbus. Ingle has slashed .284 with a .967 OPS in 51 games while collecting 50 hits, including 12 home runs and 41 RBIs. He’s also crossed the plate 33 times while making starts behind the plate, at designated hitter and in left field.
Since entering professional baseball, Ingle has continued to produce offensively. Across 281 minor league games, he’s posted a .282 batting average with 33 home runs, 173 RBIs and an .869 OPS.
Before beginning his professional career, Ingle developed into one of Clemson’s most reliable hitters. The Asheville native batted .329 over three seasons with the Tigers, finishing with 14 home runs, 29 doubles, 81 RBIs and 112 runs scored while posting a .425 on-base percentage. He also showed impressive plate discipline, striking out only 62 times in 483 career at-bats.
Ingle played a key role during Erik Bakich’s first season at Clemson, helping the Tigers capture the 2023 ACC Baseball Tournament championship before being selected No. 125 overall by Cleveland in the 2023 MLB Draft.
