The forward is a product of the Real Madrid youth academy and was sold to Como for €6m in August 2024.
There were different buy-back clauses included in the deal, going from €9m in 2026 to €11m in 2027.
Real Madrid decided to activate it this summer, but also have no real intention of keeping the 21-year-old, intending to sell him at a massive profit of circa €70m.

Inter were considered the favourites, pooling their investment after losing the transfer race to Chelsea for Marco Palestra, but Como have considerably more liquidity.
According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Como are now putting together their own offer to buy Nico Paz back after Champions League qualification.
As part of the original agreement, they have preferential treatment until June 30 to buy him for just €60m, regardless of Inter competition.
Sky Sport Italia also claim that Real Madrid would prefer this, because they could introduce another buy-back option set at €80m for the future.

Nico Paz seems to have his heart set on continuing with Cesc Fabregas at the Stadio Sinigaglia too, as he posted an Instagram Stories clip where he was wearing a Como hat when training with Argentina for their next World Cup match against Jordan.
He flourished this season at Como with 13 goals and eight assists in 40 games between Serie A and the Coppa Italia, where they reached the semi-finals.
