If the Boston Celtics are going to trade Jaylen Brown this summer, it won’t be for pennies on the dollar. Brad Stevens has reportedly been entertaining discussions surrounding the All-Star forward, following Boston’s inability to get a deal for Giannis Antetokounmpo over the line.
Brown is coming off a career year. In 71 regular-season games, he averaged 28.7 points, 6.9 rebounds and 5.1 assists, shooting 34.7 percent from deep and 52.3 percent from two-point range. There will never be a better time to try and cash in on Brown than right now.

During a recent episode of the “Anything Is Poddable” podcast, hosts Jay King and Brian Robb revealed that, despite Boston’s openness to trading Brown, President of Basketball Operations Brad Stevens has slapped a hefty price tag on him. They also discussed potential trade rumors, and how the LaMelo Ball deal gives some insight into what Brad Stevens is asking for in a deal for Brown.
