Philadelphia 76ers’ former top pick Ben Simmons is eyeing a return to the NBA for the 2026-27 season, and the Philadelphia 76ers are among his preferred destinations. In a Men’s Health interview, Simmons left the door open to coming back to the team that drafted him No. 1 overall in 2016, as well as expressing interest in joining the Miami Heat. He said he plans to get as physically strong as possible, get back on the court, and let teams see that his skills are needed, but he didn’t specify a definitive plan or location. “Maybe I’ll go back to Philly. Miami would be nice. And not because it’s Miami. I like Erik Spoelstra, I like the Heat, I like their organization, I like the culture,” Simmons stated.
