The Utah Jazz revealed their full 2026 Salt Lake City Summer League roster on Tuesday, unveiling a 16-player group of young talent for their first on-court look at No. 2 pick Darryn Peterson and the sophomore return of No. 5 pick Ace Bailey, who enters his second season as a key building block for the franchise. Peterson, wearing No. 22, arrives in Salt Lake City after a week of introductory events, including a press conference in which he expressed eagerness to learn Will Hardy’s system. Bailey, listed at No. 19, comes back to Summer League after a strong rookie campaign that earned All-Rookie Second Team honors and cemented his status as a promising long-term piece for Utah. Steve Wojciechowski will coach the Jazz’s Summer League squad, continuing his leadership of Utah’s developmental program.
The 16-man roster blends guards, wings, and centers to provide diverse lineup options. The group includes Max Abmas, Jonas Aidoo, Ace Bailey, Tamar Bates, Matt Cleveland, Eric Dixon, Hayden Gray, Micah Handlogten, Justin Harmon, Blake Hinson, Kylor Kelley, Jaxon Kohler, Bez Mbeng, Darryn Peterson, Mohamed Wague, and Cody Williams. Peterson, Abmas, Bates, and Mbeng spearhead the guard corps, while Bailey, Cleveland, Hinson, Dixon, and Williams offer size and scoring on the perimeter. Aidoo, Handlogten, Kelley, Kohler, and Wague form the center rotation, providing interior presence during the three-game slate.
For Peterson, the week marks his first chance at professional live action, while Bailey aims to build on last season’s momentum and demonstrate growth entering his second year. Utah officials have underscored the importance of early developmental reps for both players as the franchise shifts toward a more competitive phase following Peterson’s addition. The event also serves as a proving ground for returning prospects such as Handlogten, Harmon, Cleveland, and Williams, who will look to show progress, along with newcomers Aidoo, Kohler, and Wague, who will strengthen Utah’s frontcourt.
The Salt Lake City Summer League begins next week at the University of Utah’s John M. Huntsman Center, where the Jazz will host three visiting teams before heading to Las Vegas for the NBA’s main Summer League schedule. With a top-two pick making his debut, a rising sophomore leading the wing group, and a deep developmental roster behind them, Utah enters the event as one of the league’s most intriguing storylines.
