Wimbledon Predictions, Picks & Odds 2026: Favorites, Outrights & Daily Picks

As Wimbledon 2026 moves into its second week, the early rounds reveal two underdogs with strong upset potential. Hubert Hurkacz, a big-serving grass-court specialist, has impressed so far and will face a tough test against No. 21 seed Tommy Paul. Ekaterina Alexandrova is also looking to extend her London form and overcome her 2026 Grand Slam struggles as she battles 18-year-old American Iva Jovic. Read on for our Wimbledon predictions and free tennis picks for Friday, July 3.
Top Wimbledon predictions for Friday, July 3, by Luc LeBlanc include two compelling value bets. First, Hubert Hurkacz moneyline at +178 against Tommy Paul. Hurkacz has battled injuries but remains a dangerous early-round opponent, especially on grass. His 89.8% hold rate this year ranks just behind Jannik Sinner and Ben Shelton, and it climbs to 95.4% on grass. Wimbledon is Hurkacz’s best Slam surface, with a career grass hold rate of 91.8%. Paul is a strong returner, but Hurkacz’s serving ability and natural grass-court game make this a tightly priced matchup that may tilt in Hurkacz’s favor if he’s fully healthy. He beat Casper Ruud in straight sets in the first round and has yet to drop a set in this tournament.
Second, Ekaterina Alexandrova moneyline at +178 versus Iva Jovic. Alexandrova isn’t a pure grass specialist, but she has posted her best results on grass and holds at a career-high rate there (77.2%). Jovic, in her first Tour-level grass season, has shown weaker holds and break rates on the surface and has played only five grass matches at Tour level. Alexandrova has not dropped a set this tournament and has defeated seeded players such as Anastasia Potapova, Ann Li, and French Open champion Mirra Andreeva on grass this year. The pricing here also looks close to even. Alexandrova has reached the second week at Wimbledon in her last two appearances and will aim to continue that trend with a Round 3 win.
