​Tennessee Tech officially joined the Southern Conference on Wednesday, completing its transition from the Ohio Valley Conference. As the SoCon’s 11th full-time member, the Golden Eagles will renew in-state rivalries with ETSU and Chattanooga. SoCon competition is set to begin in the 2026-27 athletic season.
