Gianluca Inacio still on Milan’s radar after Gila deal. Milan appears to have secured Mario Gila from Lazio, but reports also indicate they plan to sign Goncalo Inacio from Sporting CP, with Fikayo Tomori possibly leaving. Multiple outlets, including Sky Sport Italia, confirm that Gila has agreed personal terms with Milan for a five-year contract worth €5 million per season, including bonuses, while Lazio are expected to accept an offer in the region of €25 million plus add-ons. However, this does not end Milan’s pursuit of Goncalo Inacio, as the club aims to land both Gila and Inacio. Calciomercato’s Milan correspondent Daniele Longo states on his YouTube channel that new manager Ruben Amorim intends to overhaul his defense with two major signings. Gila is anticipated to form the right side of a back three, potentially replacing Tomori, whose contract expires in June 2027. Tomori had a verbal agreement to extend, but that arrangement dated from a previous regime that is no longer in place. Sporting CP are reportedly asking around €40-45 million, including add-ons, for the 24-year-old defender who is currently with Portugal at the World Cup. Milan’s envisioned back line could feature Goncalo Inacio, Mario Gila, Koni De Winter, Matteo Gabbia, and Strahinja Pavlovic.
