​Rewritten: Halle Bailey, a softball signee for the Lady Vols, has been named to the Tennessee Sports Writers Association Class AAA All-State Team. A product of Alcoa High School in Alcoa, Tennessee, Bailey is a four-time TSWA All-State pick who helped lead the Lady Tornadoes to the TSSAA Class AAA state championship during her 2026 senior season. The shortstop and leadoff hitter posted a .627 batting average with 88 hits, nine doubles, seven triples, seven home runs, 50 stolen bases, 30 RBIs, and 21 walks. She committed to Tennessee on November 12, 2025.
In the state tournament, Bailey hit .700 (14-for-20) with 13 runs, five RBIs, two home runs, and one double. She earned four District Player of the Year honors and was the 2026 District 5-AAA MVP, guiding Alcoa to a 44-3 record. Bailey also played four seasons of basketball at Alcoa. She is the daughter of Alcoa head coach and former Lady Vol Sarah Fekete Bailey.
