Film: Virginia, Clemson
Background: Listed at 6-6, 223 pounds. A 5-star recruit per 247 Sports. His father was a 5-star recruit who played football at Florida State and was drafted by the Minnesota Twins. His mother swam at Florida. He earned Under Armour All-American honors, transferred from USC to Florida State, and made first-team All-ACC in 2025. Notable career stats heading into 2026 include a 21.4% target share of the passing offense, 185 receptions, and 2,832 receiving yards. From PFF before 2026, his numbers include 5.7 yards after contact per reception, 2.73 yards per route run, an average depth of target of 16.4 yards, six drops, and 59 contested catches.
Strengths: One of the nation’s best at contested catches, tracks the ball well, and helps his quarterback by extending routes. Uses size and strength effectively as a runner and in one-on-one situations. He compensates for slower speed with momentum and strong work through arm tackles, and he has reliable hands.
Player Summary: Duce Robinson towers in the Florida State offense, using his size and power to overpower defenders both in the air and on the ground. He’s also among the top contested-catch receivers in college football and, with his ability to extend routes for his quarterback, should be a welcome fit in any offense he joins.
