He made his MLB debut on May 8 and remained with the Yankees until an option to Triple-A on May 22. The club recalled him on June 5, and he proceeded to hit .265/.345/.469 with two homers and five RBI over 20 games. In 43 games for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre this season, Jones has posted a .269/.378/.571 line with 13 home runs and 48 RBI, highlighting his power and on-base skills as he continues to develop in the Yankees’ system.
