​Lazio Release Full Pre-Season Schedule – Friendly Opponents Unveiled
As the official start of pre-season approaches, Lazio has unveiled its complete summer plan. After spending 17 summers in Auronzo di Cadore, the Biancocelesti break the tradition this year by continuing their pre-season camp at Formello, the club’s training center, a move they began last year and will maintain in 2024.
Lazio Players Arrive for Pre-Season in the Coming Days
The club’s website confirms that Lazio players will gradually report to the pre-season camp starting Thursday, July 9. The opening three days are reserved for routine medical checks and athletic testing.
Training Schedule at Formello and Fan Access
Training under new Lazio head coach Gennaro Gattuso and his technical staff begins on Monday, July 13. The team will hold a morning session and an afternoon session for the first two weeks, up to July 26, all behind closed doors. By Wednesday, July 29, the second phase of preparations will commence, with limited fan access to training sessions and opportunities to meet the players.
Lazio to Play Six Friendlies This Summer
Lazio has announced six summer friendly matches, starting with a behind-closed-doors game against the Primavera squad on July 20. The schedule also includes matches against Flaminia Civita Castellana, Avellino, Ascoli, and Ostiamare, before finishing pre-season with an away game against newly promoted Frosinone, their sole top-flight opponent this summer.
