Arsenal have completed the signing of Swiss midfielder Geraldine Reuteler after her departure from Eintracht Frankfurt. The 27-year-old is understood to have agreed a four-year contract and leaves Germany after eight years competing in the Frauen-Bundesliga. In total, she made 184 appearances across all competitions for Frankfurt, scoring 54 goals and providing 44 assists. Reuteler will wear the number 14 shirt and becomes Arsenal’s third new addition of the summer, following the arrivals of Georgia Stanway and Selina Cerci.
“Arsenal is one of the best clubs in the world and I’m so proud to be here,” Reuteler said. “I love the way this team plays and I can’t wait to challenge myself against the best players in the WSL. I want to contribute to the history and success of this football club, and I’m excited to walk out at Emirates Stadium in front of all our supporters.”
Reuteler began her career with Swiss side FC Stans before moving to FC Luzern, making her senior top-flight debut at just 15. She joined Frankfurt in 2018, a year after earning her first cap for Switzerland—the start of a national career that has now reached 91 caps. She also helped Switzerland reach the Euro 2025 quarter-finals on home soil.
“I’m delighted we’ve been able to bring her to Arsenal,” said manager Renee Slegers. “She’s a technically intelligent player with strong athleticism, which makes her a fantastic addition to our midfield group. I’m looking forward to starting to work together when pre-season begins.”
