Geovany Quenda has completed his transfer to Chelsea from Sporting CP in Portugal. The 19-year-old midfielder has moved for a reported fee of up to £44 million and has put pen to paper on a contract that runs until 2034. Speaking after the signing, Quenda expressed his enthusiasm about joining the club and working under manager Xabi Alonso. “I am excited to collaborate with my teammates and the manager, Xabi Alonso,” he said. “I am a very hardworking young player, and I take pride in helping my team.
