TST Best Bets: July 8, 2026

Tonight’s WNBA slate features a doubleheader that spotlights two of the league’s hottest teams trying to keep their momentum rolling. The Indiana Fever have just notched back-to-back wins without star guard Caitlin Clark, climbing to the top of the Eastern Conference standings. With Clark listed as probable to return tonight, Indiana has a prime tune-up opportunity against a Los Angeles Sparks squad that has dropped three in a row. Meanwhile, the Minnesota Lynx have been among the league’s best teams all season, holding a 15-6 record despite being without star forward Napheesa Collier for the entire year. They, too, are coming off a surprising defeat, losing to the 5-16 Connecticut Sun on Monday. The Lynx will look to rebound on the road in the second leg of a home-and-away series, though they’ll likely be without Rookie of the Year contender Olivia Miles for a second straight game.
For those following WNBA betting, here are tonight’s top picks from TST Best Bets, brought to you by BetOnline.ag. New players can claim a 50% welcome bonus and up to $250 in free bets.
First Pick: Indiana Fever -7 over Los Angeles Sparks
Rundown: Indiana just delivered its best win of the season, a 16-point victory over the Las Vegas Aces on Sunday, even with Clark sidelined. The Sparks, meanwhile, remain without Kelsey Plum tonight and have struggled mightily without her, going 1-5 this season and just suffering a tough loss to the Seattle Storm. Indiana has featured the league’s most efficient offense all season, and facing a Sparks squad with the WNBA’s weakest defensive rating makes it hard to envision Los Angeles keeping pace once Clark and Kelsey Mitchell, who has scored 26 or more points in three consecutive games, take the floor.
Second Pick: Connecticut Sun +6.5 over Minnesota Lynx
Rundown: The Sun own the league’s worst record, yet they haven’t been the easiest opponent to blow out. Connecticut is 6-2 against the spread as a home underdog this season and is getting seven points here against a short-handed Lynx squad. While it may feel unlikely for the lowest-ranked team to topple the league’s best in back-to-back games, the Sun have shown they can stay within striking distance and cover. Collier has been returning to practice this week, which adds a much-needed boost for Minnesota. The Lynx nevertheless boast an elite net rating of plus 8.2 over their last 10 games, though that mark would be even stronger with a fully healthy lineup.
