Crystal Palace, Aston Villa & German Club Monitoring PSG Striker

Beyond Tottenham and Juventus, with whom he has reportedly already settled personal terms, Randal Kolo Muani is drawing interest from two other Premier League clubs and a prominent German side. Despite a disappointing 2025-26 season at Tottenham, where he managed only five goals in 41 appearances, Muani remains highly valued on the transfer market. Reports from L’Equipe and La Gazzetta dello Sport indicate that the North London club is still keen on keeping him for next season, though the exact structure of any potential deal remains unclear.
The most concrete option for Muani appears to be a move to Juventus, where he enjoyed a productive loan spell in the latter half of the 2024-25 campaign. The Bondy-born forward is said to have already agreed to personal terms with the Bianconeri, but Juventus has not yet sealed an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain. Juventus’s latest offer is reported to be a €32 million paid loan with a purchase option that could become mandatory, while PSG is seeking between €40 million and €50 million, depending on the source.
On Tuesday evening, Juventus chief executive Giovanni Carnevali gave an update on the Kolo Muani talks, admitting that negotiations have not progressed significantly. “Regarding Kolo Muani, the asking price has not come down, and we have not increased our offer, but we are evaluating a wide range of options,” he told Sky Italia. “I wouldn’t focus only on him. If there is a significant gap, we have to make the right decisions. We are trying to do what is best.” While negotiations appear stalled for now, Juventus has not given up hope, according to Le Parisien, which notes that three other clubs are monitoring the situation: Crystal Palace, Aston Villa—PSG’s opponent in the UEFA Super Cup on Aug. 12—and a major German club whose identity has not been disclosed, though Borussia Dortmund had previously been linked with Muani and could be in the market if they lose striker Serhou Guirassy this summer.
Meanwhile, PSG remains in regular contact with RB Leipzig over a potential Yan Diomande transfer, a sign that the Diomande deal is still active. Le Parisien suggests PSG is prepared to be patient, making Leipzig wait for the best possible agreement—the lowest transfer fee feasible. Although several reports indicate Diomande does not want to spend another season at Leipzig and hopes to seal a move this summer, which would bolster PSG’s negotiating position, his former Leganés teammate Seydouba Cissé offered a less definitive assessment.
The situation around Diomande is evolving: PSG’s interest persists as they pursue a target who could strengthen the squad without triggering a prohibitive price. The €130 million fee has been floated as a potential sticking point, and PSG is weighing options to secure the right deal with Leipzig, whether that means negotiating down the price or identifying alternative pathways.
In summarizing the broader picture, Muani’s future remains unsettled but highly consequential for multiple European powerhouses. Juventus has made clear its interest, though the path to a deal with PSG remains fraught by price disagreements. Tottenham’s stance on retaining the forward continues to be watched closely, with both L’Equipe and La Gazzetta dello Sport indicating a continued interest from the North London club. Across the Channel, Premier League rivals are circling, and in Germany, a major club—potentially Dortmund—could enter the fray if the opportunity presents itself. Concurrently, PSG’s ongoing dialogue with RB Leipzig over Yan Diomande suggests a broader strategy of asset management and patient negotiation in the transfer market, underscoring how complex, multi-front the current market landscape has become.
