UFC veterans in MMA and custom rules action July 8-13

   ​It’s International Fight Week in Las Vegas, and the big draw is the highly anticipated return of Conor McGregor. At UFC 329, McGregor will collide with Max Holloway in a welterweight headliner, bringing the action to the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. In addition to the McGregor-Holloway main event, veterans of the promotion are stepping into a range of combat sports across the weekend, showcasing their enduring skills against new and established foes.

Jordan Wright delivered a technical knockout against Yuta Watanabe at Nexus Mania 2026, continuing his run in combat sports. Andre Fialho suffered a submission loss to Jordan Zebo at Ares FC 42, while Jeff Molina dropped a unanimous decision to Arman Asimov at Nomad Fighting 15 under a custom rules format. Diego Brandao recorded a knockout win over Zhuman Zhumabekov at Nomad Fighting 15 (custom rules).
Looking ahead, several notable matchups are planned for July. Wright’s next appearance is July 8 against Taron Grigoryan at Tuff-N-Uff 155. Brandao’s last MMA appearance was a TKO victory over Ashiek Ajim at VFL on December 12, 2025, with his previous UFC bout a submission loss to Edgar Chairez on February 24, 2024. Since leaving the UFC, Brandao has gone 2-1 in MMA competition and 1-0 in karate.
Other fighters have similar schedules. One athlete is set for a July 11 clash with Mickael Groguhe at Top FC 22. This fighter’s recent activity includes a unanimous decision loss to Oumar Sy at UFC Fight Night 243 on September 28, 2024, and a 0-0 mark since exiting the UFC.
Another competitor is slated to fight on July 11 against Antonio Novak at OFC 67. Their latest MMA action came with a submission win over Fernando Rodrigues Jr. at RCC 17 on December 15, 2023, while their last UFC appearance was a unanimous decision loss to Ilir Latifi at UFC Fight Night 211 on October 1, 2022. Since leaving the UFC, their record stands at 1-1 in MMA, 1-0 in boxing, and 0-1 in bare-knuckle boxing.
A separate matchup on July 11 features a fighter facing Kerim Engizek at OKTAGON 91. This athlete’s most recent MMA outing was a submission win against Engizek at OKTAGON 82 on January 17, 2026, and their last UFC fight was a submission loss to Brendan Allen at UFC Fight Night 211 on October 1, 2022. They have accumulated a 5-0 (1 NC) record since exiting the UFC.
Another July 11 booking has this fighter taking on Dumar Roa at CFC 7. Their last MMA fight (and last UFC appearance) ended in a TKO loss to Tony Gravely at UFC on ESPN 22 on April 17, 2021, and they enter the weekend with a 0-0 record since leaving the UFC.
On July 12, another bout pairs one fighter against Keisuke Hashimoto at ROMAN 5 (custom rules). The most recent MMA action for this fighter was a TKO win over Longlong Xie at Longsan Fight on December 21, 2025, while their last UFC fight was a submission loss to Kyung Ho Kang at UFC Fight Night 34 on January 4, 2014. They carry a 14-23-4 (2 NC) MMA record since their UFC exit, with no recorded outcomes in custom rules competition.
That same weekend, a different matchup features a fighter facing Jesus Ru at Rising Stars Fight Series 5 on July 12. Their last MMA result was a unanimous decision win over Jordan Downey at Anthony Pettis FC 18 on July 27, 2025, and their last UFC appearance was a unanimous decision loss to Pat Sabatini at UFC on ESPN 34 on April 16, 2022. Since leaving the UFC, their record stands at 4-0.
Another July 13 clash has a fighter set to battle Yoshihiro Koyama at Lemon Shooto 7. Their most recent MMA action was a unanimous decision win over Akihiko Mori at Shooto Torao 37 on December 7, 2025, while their last UFC appearance was a TKO loss to Gleison Tibau at UFC Fight Night 21 on March 31, 2010. Since UFC departure, they have compiled a 10-10 record in MMA, with no additional recorded results in alternative rules formats.
