​Ole Miss’s 2026 season opener is just under two months away, and anticipation is building for a fresh start under a new era. The Rebels will kick off the year with a neutral-site matchup against Louisville, taking place at Nissan Stadium in Nashville as part of the Music City Kickoff. The game is set for September 6 at 6:30 p.m. Central Time and will be televised on ABC. This marks Ole Miss’s second-ever meeting with Louisville, the first having ended in a 43-24 victory for the Rebels in 2021. It will be the program’s first regular-season game with Pete Golding as head coach following his promotion from defensive coordinator on November 30 after Lane Kiffin departed for LSU. Ole Miss enters the season coming off a 13-2 record and a trip to the Fiesta Bowl playoff semifinals.
For fans looking to attend, ticket prices vary by provider and seating level. On StubHub, the cheapest available tickets for the Louisville game start at around $86, with second-level seats beginning at about $164 and lower-bowl seats at roughly $147. On SeatGeek, tickets can be found for as low as $67, and Vivid Seats lists prices starting at approximately $74.
As part of the Music City Kickoff weekend, a concert is planned for the night before the game at Ascend Federal Credit Union Amphitheater on September 5, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Central Time. Entertainment will feature Lee Brice, Gabby Barrett, and Payton Smith. Tickets for the concert go on sale July 10 at 10 a.m. CT and can be purchased online.
