PFF all-time team has Raiders’ flavor

Pro Football Focus has long been recognized as the premier data-driven football site, a reputation it has built over more than two decades. While opinions vary on the weight fans give to its insights, PFF’s player grading system remains a focal point for many followers and analysts. Recently, the site released its All-Time PFF Team, highlighting a number of former Raiders who earned recognition for the way they played the game.
Among the honorees, Antonio Brown was named to the first team as a wide receiver. It’s worth noting that Brown played for the Raiders on paper, which is why his inclusion drew mixed reactions among fans. Davante Adams earned a spot on the second team at wide receiver. At edge, Khalil Mack was selected for the first team, underscoring his impact as a disruptive playmaker. In the cornerbacks category, Casey Hayward landed on the second team, while Charles Woodson was named to the second team as a slot defender. Also notable is that Tom Brady, a minority owner of the Raiders, was listed as the first-team quarterback.
As with any evaluation framework, people have thoughts about PFF’s methodology and its scoring formulas. Nevertheless, the selections demonstrate that several former Raiders left a lasting mark in a way that aligns with PFF’s grading standards.
In other Raider-related news, PFF recently analyzed the second-year players who are under the most pressure to perform in 2026, highlighting those poised to carry significant expectations into the next season. On another front, Kalsi Football published a list of the best all-time Raiders, contributing to ongoing discussions about the franchise’s legacy and its standout talents. These conversations, together with PFF’s all-time team, feed into the broader debate about how to measure greatness and how to preserve the history of a franchise that has produced many legendary players.
