Everything you need to know about the 2026 MLB All-Star Week

By admin — In News — July 10, 2026

The moment has arrived again to tune in as our favorite players team up with their rivals for a weeklong pause in the sprint toward October. While we can’t relive last year’s Truist memories, this season brings a larger presence from our squad than ever. Ozzie Albies and Drake Baldwin, the 2025 Rookie of the Year, have earned starting spots on the National League roster, Matt Olson will serve as a reserve, and Raisel Iglesias—his first All-Star selection—will join Chris Sale in the pitchers’ rotation. You can read more about it in Demetrius’ breakdown.
Now, let’s preview the standout events on the horizon. Hosted at Citizens Bank Park, this annual showcase features 50 top Division I HBCU players, giving them a prominent platform to display their skills as the event enters its fourth year. Created by Baseball Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr., the aim is to provide these athletes with a solid foundation for their future careers while offering fans and scouts a glimpse of bright, emerging talent. The event is scheduled for Friday, July 10, at 7 p.m., with tickets starting at $28.
The MLB Draft follows on Saturday, July 11, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center Grand Hall, where prospects will hear their names called and see their lives transform starting at 1 p.m. EST. While the exact entry details aren’t listed on the site, the weekend’s proceedings will be streamed on NBC and Peacock, in addition to MLB Network.
Sunday brings a packed slate of activities for fans to enjoy. The day kicks off with the All-Star Futures Game at 12 p.m., a showcase where minor leaguers demonstrate their budding talents in a National vs. American League matchup. In a seven-inning format mirroring the main All-Star Game, fans can watch tomorrow’s stars compete on the big stage, and you just might spot your future favorite player in the action.
Later on Sunday, a fresh event debuts in place of the celebrity game: the MLBx All-Star 3-on-3. This coed homerun challenge features Phillies legends like Ryan Howard, Jimmy Rollins, and Shane Victorino facing off against Andruw Jones and other familiar faces from the Braves and beyond. The goal is to homer and to test whether opponents can rob those shots. Players earn points for home runs, with additional points for successful robberies, and bonus points for hitting targeted targets. It promises high-octane power-hitting action that fans won’t want to miss, delivering a showcase of legendary power ahead of the Derby. This event runs in tandem with the Futures Game, and tickets cover both events, with prices starting as low as $10 on SeatGeek and as low as $33.50 for standing-room areas via mlbtickets.com. Beyond the All-Star Game itself, this is the event that attracts fans from across the country to witness the sheer display of power and athleticism on display.
