Diggs has contended that Griffith had not turned over Instagram messages, a point Griffith responded to by saying that Diggs also had access to those messages, while Diggs maintained that he could not view older Instagram exchanges because Griffith had blocked him.
The civil dispute centers on serious allegations that Griffith has leveled against Diggs, which include claims of drugging and sexual assault at Diggs’ Rockville, Maryland home. TMZEarlier noted that Griffith later countered with a countersuit after Diggs filed a defamation lawsuit against him. Diggs has consistently denied Griffith’s allegations, arguing that Griffith fabricated the accusations in an attempt to damage Diggs’ reputation.

In June, TMZ reported that a federal judge ordered Diggs to provide a fuller explanation of how he knew Griffith prior to the alleged incident. The court also required Diggs to elaborate on his May 2023 interactions with Griffith and to identify who was present at Diggs’ Rockville residence during the relevant period.
