WSL Full-Time users were informed of the latest developments through an official press release issued by The Wildcats this evening. The 29-year-old midfielder/defender has a storied history with Durham, having spent two previous spells at the club, and she has now returned to Maiden Castle for a third chapter in royal blue. Bradley first joined Durham in the middle of the 2020/2021 campaign and remained with the club until the summer of 2025, when she signed with third-tier side Burnley. She then went on a loan to Durham for the second half of last season, and The Wildcats have secured her services on a permanent basis for the upcoming campaign.
Across her time with Durham, Bradley has accumulated 102 appearances in all competitions, and her unmistakable commitment on the pitch has endeared her to fans, helping her become something of a crowd favorite at the club. Upon rejoining Durham, Bradley spoke about the deep sense of belonging she feels: “It feels great. Durham is a home to me now, so it just feels natural coming back.” She highlighted the people as the primary reason for her return, saying, “It’s the people, first and foremost. I’ve made friends for life here. The area feels a bit like Ireland to me, and this is a place I can see myself settling down in. People talk about the fanbase here, but it’s such a special group, and they make us feel so welcome. It’s nice to be back and see them every Sunday.”
Bradley’s re-signing marks Durham’s second acquisition of the summer transfer window, signaling the club’s preparedness to reinforce the squad ahead of the new season. Her presence adds experience, leadership, and a familiar drive from a player who has already proven her value in the squad. As the team gears up for the next challenge, Bradley’s return is poised to bolster the Wildcats’ options across the defensive and midfield lines, contributing not only on the field but also bringing an established rapport with teammates and supporters alike. The club’s supporters can look forward to seeing Bradley in royal blue as she continues to wear the Durham badge with pride and aim to help the team build momentum throughout the campaign.
