The kickoff of the new women’s football season is fast approaching, and the long-awaited details for the Serie A Women’s Cup 2026/27—the groups and the full fixture schedule—have been confirmed. The competition, which debuted in the 2025/26 season, is set to begin in mid-August, with matches scheduled for the weekend of August 22-23. Each group will produce a winner, and the best-performing runner-up across the groups will also advance to the final phase. The semi-finals will be played as single-leg ties, with home advantage decided by a draw. The culmination of the competition will be the final, held at a neutral venue on the weekend of September 19-20.
Inter Women enter the competition ranked third in the standings before the draw and have been drawn into Group A, where they will face Lazio, Napoli Women, and Parma. The Nerazzurre will start their campaign on Friday, August 21, at 20:30 CEST, when they travel to Parma to play at the Il Noce Sports Centre in Noceto. After their opener, Inter will host Napoli Women in their second group match, scheduled for the weekend of August 29-30, before concluding the group stage against Lazio on the weekend of September 5-6.
