How to watch Spain vs Belgium: Live stream, TV channel & start time for World Cup Quarterfinals

By admin — In News — July 10, 2026

Spain is aiming for a sixth consecutive victory over Belgium when the two teams meet again at World Cup 2026 on Friday. The quarterfinals continue with a single clash between two of the world’s top-10 ranked sides. So far this summer, neither has tasted defeat in North America, though Spain’s journey to Los Angeles Stadium has looked more convincing.
After a surprising 0-0 draw with Cape Verde, Luis de la Fuente’s squad has won four straight and has not conceded a goal at the tournament. In contrast, Belgium have kept only one clean sheet in five matches and have needed extra time or penalties to secure two of their games. The Red Devils did, however, show a formidable performance in the round of 16, thrashing the co-host United States 4-1. The controversy surrounding Folarin Balogun’s suspension being lifted ultimately mattered little, as stars like Charles De Ketelaere and Romelu Lukaku showcased their attacking quality.
The downside for Belgium is a setback in midfield, as Amadou Onana is out of the World Cup with an ACL injury. This could open the door for Hans Vanaken or Kevin De Bruyne to slot into the midfield depth. For Spain, Nico Williams remains a notable fitness concern, and Mikel Merino will be hoping that his stoppage-time winner against Portugal last time out is enough to earn a starting berth alongside or in place of De la Fuente’s preferred XI.
