How many points did Nate Ament score? Bucks vs. Heat box score

By admin — In News — July 10, 2026

Former Tennessee standout Nate Ament finally made his summer league debut for the Milwaukee Bucks on July 10 in Las Vegas, facing the Miami Heat, the team that briefly held his draft rights before they were traded to Milwaukee in the deal that sent Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis Jr. to Miami. Ament, who was the No. 13 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, had sat out the California Classic in Sacramento the week prior. He appeared on the Bucks’ bench during that event, but the completion of the Miami trade on July 6 kept him off the official roster until now.
In Las Vegas, the Bucks fell 119-86 to the Heat, though Milwaukee started strong, leading 31-26 after the opening period. Ament contributed four points in the first quarter and ultimately finished with six points, three rebounds and two assists across 17 minutes of play. His first points came on a dunk near the rim over Heat center Vladislav Goldin, fed by Bogoljub Marković. He added another impressive slam and later hit a 19-foot jumper off the dribble, using a Jesse Edwards screen to create the separation. Ament also played a role in setting up his teammate Pete Nance for two three-pointers before leaving the game for good with 5:48 left in the third quarter.
For the Heat, Ryan Conwell and Jahmir Young shared the scoring lead with 19 points apiece. On the Bucks side, guard Brayden Burries, the No. 10 overall pick, contributed 18 points on 6-for-15 shooting.
Here are Ament’s full box-score numbers from the game against Miami: Minutes played 17; Points 6; Field goals 3 of 7; three-pointers 0 of 3; free throws 0 of 0; Rebounds 3; Assists 2; Steals 0; Blocks 0; Turnovers 1; Personal fouls 1.
This recap originally appeared in the Knoxville News Sentinel, and it highlights Ament’s performance in the Bucks’ clash with the Heat, along with context about his summer league journey and the trade history involving his draft rights.
