The odds for the Conor McGregor vs. Max Holloway rematch at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday, July 11, are shifting with just one sleep left until fight night. McGregor returns to the Octagon in the main event against Holloway at UFC 329, a card that also features Paddy Pimblett vs. Benoit Saint-Denis. After a long layoff, early UFC 329 lines had the 37-year-old McGregor as a notable underdog, but those odds are moving in his favor. He sits at +165 to win, while Holloway is the -220 betting favorite.
Market to win outright: Holloway -220, McGregor +165. Rounds: 2.5 over/under, Over +100, Under -130. Will the fight go the distance? Yes +315, No -525. Odds current as of July 10.
Holloway and McGregor are headlining UFC 329 on Saturday, July 11. The two last met on August 17, 2013, on a preliminary card ahead of a UFC Fight Night main event between Chael Sonnen and Mauricio Rua, so a lot has changed since then. McGregor won by unanimous decision in that meeting, handing Holloway his third defeat in his first 10 UFC bouts. That victory also extended McGregor’s winning streak to 10, a streak that would grow to 15 before his 2016 loss to Nate Diaz—a setback he would later avenge.
Notorious” last fought in 2021, losing to Dustin Poirier at UFC 257 (and again at UFC 264). He was expected to return in 2024 against Michael Chandler, a matchup teased during The Ultimate Fighter 31 when both served as opposing coaches, but a broken toe ultimately canceled those plans. Holloway, meanwhile, has been more active, competing in eight UFC bouts since McGregor’s last appearance, posting a 5-3 record in that stretch. His most recent fight was a unanimous decision loss to Charles Oliveira at UFC 326 on March 7, 2026.
Despite Holloway’s continued competitiveness and McGregor’s long layoff, the odds reflect a perception that McGregor’s ring rust, injuries, legal matters, and a suspension tied to missed drug tests could be mitigating factors. Holloway may not be undefeated, but he has remained a consistent presence and is being given a substantial edge to reclaim a win over McGregor after nearly 13 years.

Holloway opened as the favorite at -400 on the moneyline about a month ago. As of Friday, July 10, those odds have shifted to -220, while McGregor sits at +165 for the outright upset. A winning $10 bet on McGregor would yield a significant payout if he can flip the script and end Holloway’s run on fight night.
