Soule’s agent flies to England amid Premier League interest

Matias Soulé could be leaving Roma. In June, the Giallorossi asked the player’s representative to identify clubs willing to submit an offer before the start of July to complete the settlement agreement with UEFA. Guastadisegno, the Argentine winger’s agent, spoke clearly on June 30: “I’ve received a flood of calls in recent weeks and spoken with several clubs, but none have stepped forward. We’re not moving anywhere. Soulé is an asset to Roma, and if someone inside is spreading such rumors, it will only harm Matias, a model professional who has given his all to this club.”
Soulé’s departure could take him to the Premier League. According to Corriere dello Sport, the player’s agent is in England negotiating with Sunderland and Fulham, two clubs that have shown interest in the Argentine winger. The former Frosinone player carries a market value of about €15.5 million, meaning a transfer around €35 million could yield Roma a capital gain of roughly €20 to €21 million. Roma is awaiting offers in that range. These are pivotal hours for Matias Soulé’s future.
