Paris Saint-Germain are intent on strengthening their attacking options this summer. Goncalo Ramos has already departed, moving to AC Milan in a record-breaking transfer, and Lee Kang-in is also on the verge of leaving. With talks between PSG and Atletico Madrid well advanced, the South Korea international’s exit from the Parc des Princes appears increasingly likely.
To bolster their forward line, PSG have zeroed in on AS Monaco’s Maghnes Akliouche as a potential reinforcement. Negotiations between the clubs are ongoing, though Monaco have already rejected the initial €35 million offer. The French champions, however, are not limiting themselves to a single addition to their attack and are exploring multiple avenues to strengthen their frontline.
There are other targets in PSG’s sights, including RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomandé and, according to Gianluca Di Marzio and Sky Sports, Ferran Torres. The Spain international has reportedly reached a principle agreement with PSG. Torres is entering the final year of his contract with Barcelona, and the La Liga champions are said to be closing in on a deal to sign Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi as well.
In this pursuit of a more potent attack, PSG are pursuing a broader strategy rather than a single signing. The club’s recruitment plan reflects a desire to add depth and quality across their forward options, ensuring they can maintain peak performance across domestic and European competitions. While Ramos’ departure has created a gap, PSG aim to fill it with a combination of established talent and promising young players, making a statement about their ambition to contend at the very top of European football.
