​Julia Bartel is a fresh addition to Juventus, signing a contract that runs through June 30, 2029. The 22-year-old Spanish midfielder has joined the Bianconere with a clear sense of purpose, and she has spoken publicly for the first time since the move. “I’m really happy to be here. On adapting to life in Italy and pursuing collective objectives, Bartel outlined her priorities. “First of all, I’ll need to settle into life in a new country. At the team level, those are the main objectives, along with getting to know my teammates better, spending time with them, and building team spirit day by day. Personally, I want to help the club and the squad in every possible way while continuing to develop as a footballer.”
Exploring her playing style and influences, Bartel described herself as a creative midfielder who relishes being at the heart of the action. “I really enjoy linking up with my teammates, pressing forward, and maintaining possession. Having the ball is my favorite part of the pitch. If I had to name role models, I’d choose Aitana Bonmatí, Alexia Putellas, and Patri Guijarro. They’re true idols for me; players I draw inspiration from when I play.”
Bartel also highlighted the value of Juventus’ locker room diversity. “I know there are both seasoned veterans and younger talents in the squad.
