The confrontation spilled from the seating areas down the left-field line and into the concourse near the field, where bystanders who were not involved in the fight stepped in to help break it up.
Police detained multiple individuals, with four ultimately booked into San Francisco County Jail. Of those four, one person faced charges of public intoxication and suspicion of assault, while the other three were arrested on suspicions of public intoxication and disturbing the peace. The arrestees ranged in age from 21 to 29. While videos from various fans do not clearly identify who started the incident, the participant wearing the black jersey appears to have been involved in many of the fight’s most chaotic moments. He was seen pummeling a man on the ground before turning his attention to two women who were grappling nearby.
