Steelers preseason schedule: All 3 games to be aired on NFL Network

By admin — In News — July 11, 2026

NFL Network has released the Steelers’ preseason schedule, underscoring how pivotal this revamped Pittsburgh squad appears to the league. The Steelers are set for three exhibition contests, with two at home inside Acrisure Stadium and one away game against the Buffalo Bills. All three matchups will be shown in prime time on the NFL Network.
Here is Pittsburgh’s full slate:
– Week 1: Thursday, August 13, vs. Green Bay Packers at 7:00 PM ET
– Week 2: Friday, August 21, vs. New York Jets at 7:00 PM ET
– Week 3: Thursday, August 27, at Buffalo Bills at 7:00 PM ET
Several compelling storylines will accompany these games, adding layers of intrigue beyond the results on the field. The Week 1 matchup against the Packers is not incidental. Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin will renew a link to Green Bay, as he spent 13 seasons with the Packers as the head coach, and Aaron Rodgers was the quarterback during much of that era. Rodgers also has a history with the Jets, the Steelers’ Week 2 opponent, which further heightens the narrative crossing into this year’s preseason.
Pittsburgh will report to training camp in roughly two weeks, with their first exhibition game just about a month away. Following the preseason, the Steelers will kick off the regular season at home against the Atlanta Falcons, roughly one month after the final preseason game.
