MLB draft tracker follows every pick for players from Florida

By admin — In News — July 11, 2026

It’s the biggest day in amateur baseball, as hundreds of high school and college players in Florida wait to hear their names called in the 2026 MLB Draft in Philadelphia. We’ll be tracking all of the Sunshine State’s standout stars—both high school and collegiate—who are poised to be selected by one of the 30 major league teams. It’s a moment that could launch them toward professional baseball careers, and we’ll follow every pick as it happens to map their positions and trajectories.
This year’s draft is split over two days, a change from the three-day format that has persisted in recent cycles. Given ongoing negotiations surrounding the collective bargaining agreement and questions about whether high school players will be included in future drafts, this could be one of the last MLB drafts of its kind for a while. Stay tuned for a running list of players and where they’re slated to go, updated in real time as selections are announced.
All times listed are Eastern. The first 10 picks of the 2026 MLB Draft will be broadcast on NBC. Picks 11 through 40 will be shown on MLB Network, MLB.com, and MLB.TV. The entire first round can also be streamed on Fubo, which carries NBC and MLB Network and offers a free trial for new subscribers.
Event schedule highlights include: Saturday, July 11 from 1 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. ET, and Sunday, July 12 from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. ET. Day 1 of the draft begins at 1 p.m. on Saturday with Rounds 1 through 4, while the draft continues on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. with Rounds 5 through 20. The televised coverage will gradually expand from NBC’s live broadcast of the first 10 picks to MLB Network’s coverage of picks 11–40, with streaming access for picks 41–135 via MLB.com or MLB.TV.
This note and tracker are a companion to ongoing coverage from the Palm Beach Post, designed to optimize search visibility for Florida players in the Draft. Expect updates on who gets selected, where they’ll start their professional careers, and how Florida’s prospects stack up against national peers.
