​The Arizona Cardinals will report to training camp on July 22 and begin the process of preparing for the regular season, as they form the roster and determine starting jobs and roles across the team. In the weeks leading up to the camp’s opening, we will examine every player on the offseason roster, exploring their backgrounds, current contracts, performances in 2025, the questions they face, and their overall roster outlook.
Here is tight end Teagan Quitoriano. Quitoriano enters his first season with the Cardinals after spending three years with the Houston Texans and one with the Atlanta Falcons. He was selected in the fifth round of the 2022 draft by Houston. After his first three seasons of limited action—no more than nine games in any year—Quitoriano appeared in all 17 games for Atlanta in 2025, contributing 133 offensive snaps and 239 special-teams snaps. This offseason, he signed a one-year deal with Arizona worth $1.24 million, including $25,000 in workout bonuses, with no guaranteed money. His salary is projected to be just over $1.2 million, and his cap hit will align with the $1.24 million figure.
The Cardinals appear to have three tight end spots firmly secured behind the top options. Trey McBride, Elijah Higgins, and Tip Reiman are expected to hold the first three roles, leaving Quitoriano competing for what could be the fourth tight end spot. Quitoriano’s standout special-teams contributions last season may give him a fighting chance to win that fourth roster berth, but his status remains on the roster bubble. The contract language provides no default indications about his likelihood of making the team, so his fate will hinge on his performance in camp and preseason.
