​The octagon is set at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for tonight’s UFC 329 event. The fight card features the return of former two-division champion Conor McGregor in the main event, renewing a clash with former featherweight champion and BMF titleholder Max Holloway. The two previously shared the cage 13 years ago at UFC Fight Night 26 in Boston in a featherweight bout that took place on the preliminary card, where McGregor emerged victorious by unanimous decision. That bout marked McGregor’s second appearance inside the octagon, and he has not stepped into the ring for five years. McGregor’s last fight occurred in July 2021 at UFC 264, where he suffered a crushing leg injury en route to a loss against Dustin Poirier.
