A rookie making his second pro start nearly stole the spotlight, but in the end the 2026 ISCO Championship would be decided by a playoff between two players chasing their second PGA Tour victories. Taylor Pendrith and Steven Fisk finished 16 under, one shot ahead of the rest of the field, and it all unfolded at Hurstbourne Country Club in Louisville, Kentucky.
Steven Fisk launched the drama with a tee shot on the 15th during the final round, setting the tone for a tense finish. On the first extra hole, Pendrith drew a bead on birdie with an approach to about nine feet on the par-4 18th, but his birdie try ran by the hole and he settled for par. Fisk, meanwhile, landed his approach short and into a greenside bunker but managed to escape with a par, forcing a second playoff.
In the second playoff hole, both players confronted misjudged approaches and found themselves off the green. Each recovered magnificently, saving par with precise up-and-downs: Fisk from 93 feet and Pendrith from 92 feet. The battle continued to a third extra hole, where Fisk made his third consecutive par, while Pendrith bogeyed, giving Fisk the victory.
With this win, Fisk clinched his second PGA Tour title, supplementing his 2025 Sanderson Farms Championship trophy. He earned $720,000 and secured a two-year exemption on Tour. Fisk’s path to victory featured rounds of 63-66-68-67 over the four days, sealing a strong finish that left him at the top of the leaderboard and in the winner’s circle.
Pendrith, whose lone PGA Tour victory remains the 2024 The CJ Cup Byron Nelson, also finished strong but came up just short. His record-tying effort in the playoff underscored his continued potential and growing capstone to a career that has shown flashes of brilliance.
The rest of the leaderboard featured a tight battle for the podium. Ben Silverman and Aaron Wise tied for third at 15 under. Lucas Glover, who had led after the second and third rounds, slipped to a 1-over 71 on Sunday, ending in a tie for fifth with Kristoffer Ventura and Davis Chatfield. Defending champion William Mouw finished tied for 10th, a reminder of how unpredictable Sundays can be in a tightly packed field.
In another storyline from the final round, Jackson Koivun entered as the betting favorite in just his second PGA Tour start since turning pro. He surged early, playing partner to the leaders, and at one point was 4 under through 14 holes and 13 under overall, just a shot off the lead. Steven Fisk, Lucas Glover, and Aaron Wise sat a step ahead at that moment, yet Koivun’s early momentum tempered as the round wore on. He continued to post solid scores, finishing in the 60s for all four days (67-68-66-67), but could not sustain the late push to force a playoff.
Koivun’s early surge and Koivun’s betting-favorite status added an extra layer of intrigue to a final round that delivered all the drama fans crave: a high-stakes close, clutch up-and-downs, and a playoff that extended the drama beyond regulation. The 2026 ISCO Championship proved once again to be a battleground where veterans and rising stars alike find themselves in a tight race, and where perseverance, precision, and a touch of luck can tilt the scale in a dramatic finish.
