Red Bull’s sole wish is for Klopp to remain accessible occasionally to share his expertise while he serves as Bundestrainer. All remaining Red Bull-related details are expected to be discussed and finalised in New York by early next week.
From Sky Sport Germany’s perspective, as unusual as it may sound, the DFB job will likely demand most of Klopp’s time. In addition to scouting and monitoring talent, selecting squads, implementing a playing style, and building a new mentality, Klopp will probably take a hands-on role in areas such as talent development and coaching development, while also contributing input on capital planning initiatives, including facilities and infrastructure improvements. It’s clear that Klopp will be a busy, central figure.
