Bayern Munich News: Tottenham Hotspur, Real Madrid, FC Barcelona all hunting FC Bayern’s Harry Kane; PSG eyeing big move?; and MORE!

Bayern Munich remain confident they will secure a fresh long-term contract for Harry Kane, even as attention from Europe’s top clubs continues to mount. Tottenham Hotspur are among those monitoring the situation, and TEAMtalk understands that Bayern have been in talks with Kane’s representatives for several months. Inside the club, the sense is that a deal is simply a matter of when, not if, Kane will sign new terms. That confidence hasn’t stopped interest from others, though, as intermediaries have begun quietly exploring options for Kane and informing both the player and his advisers of the potential interest. There is no indication that those intermediaries are acting directly on Kane’s behalf.
The Saudi Pro League remains an admirer of Kane, but sources say the England captain has no interest in a move to Saudi Arabia at this stage of his career. A move to Major League Soccer is viewed more favorably, though it is still considered a longer-term possibility rather than an immediate option. Across Europe, the level of interest remains high. Barcelona have approached Kane’s camp to inquire about his contractual situation, while Real Madrid have asked to be kept updated should circumstances change in the coming months.
Bayern Munich has shown no signs of waiving Kane after this season, with several reports weighing in on the likelihood of him extending his stay. Tottenham, Real Madrid, and Barcelona are clearly monitoring Kane’s situation, but his next decision—whether to extend with Bayern or pursue a transfer—will likely rest on his comfort level with his current environment. At present, there is no indication that Kane is unhappy in Germany.
Meanwhile, FC Barcelona has reportedly secured a deal for Borussia Dortmund forward Karim Adeyemi, potentially shifting their focus to Atlético Madrid’s Julián Álvarez. Mundo Deportivo quotes Barcelona manager Hansi Flick as believing Álvarez is the striker the club needs, noting that the Argentina international’s ability to score and vary his movement makes him a different kind of option than Robert Lewandowski, who left for Chicago Fire after his contract expired. Barca chiefs Deco and Joan Laporta remain committed to bringing Álvarez to the Camp Nou, having reportedly pressed Atlético Madrid to part with the 26-year-old for a fee above €100 million.
In this evolving landscape, Barça’s interest in Álvarez is positioned as a strategic move to bolstering their attacking options, with Flick convinced that the Argentine forward can add a new dimension to Barcelona’s front line. Dortmund’s stance on the price tag and transfer timing will likely influence how soon a deal can be concluded, but the Barcelona leadership remains resolute in pursuing the transfer as part of their broader plan to refresh the squad’s attacking threat. The transfer market’s dynamics imply a busy period ahead for Bayern, Barça, Real Madrid, Tottenham, and the other European giants, all weighing up marquee targets as they map out their forward lines for the coming seasons.
